Vinification

The grapes are harvested manually at their full maturity. Traditional maceration in concrete vats with soft extraction of the juice. 17-month maturing period in new wooden casks.

FOOD & WINE PAIRING

Cornas 2016 is the ideal wine to serve with a pot-au-feu of foie gras Landais (stew) or duck magret.

TASTING

Beautiful deep red colour with purple hues. The nose reveals aromas of black berries, new leather, and cherry. The wine is full on the palate yielding notes of black berries with refined tannins fins and a pleasant long-lasting finish. Ideal serving temperature, between 16°C and 18°C.

Ageing

10-15 years

Earthy

Climate with a strong Mediterranean influence. Granitic soil, with vine stocks growing on terraced plots.
