Produce of vines grown on a stony plot at 450 metres altitude, on the Tournefort plateau. Philosophy: Sustainable viticulture based on observation, preventive care and close attention to natural balance.
After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the cellar and pressed directly, with slow and gentle extraction of the juice. A first fermentation takes place in the vat, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle, known as the "prise de mousse", when the effervescence is formed. This traditional-method wine is ready for drinking after 9 months' bottle ageing on racks.
An embodiment of finesse and elegance, Le Grand Seuil reveals a lovely floral nose of blossom and elderflower. The delicate and supremely fresh effervescence is underlined by the superb acid tang that is characteristic of Ugni Blanc, offering delightfully fruity notes of white peach and exotic fruit, and great persistence
Perfect as an aperitif or as a companion to Provençal cuisine.
